About

Fernando’s Kitchen

A unique fusion of Flamenco, North African and Latin sounds, mixed in with the modern day contemporary styles. Fernando’s Kitchen is a group of multi-cultural musicians, performing their very own compositions as a 2 to 6 piece line-up of spanish guitar, double-bass, oud, flamenco cajon, percussions, vocals, and trumpet.

The group is made up of a collective of musicians from many different backgrounds and cultures, reflecting the mixture of their musical inspiration. The group was founded by Sebastian Diez and Heidi Joubert in 2006 in London

shortly after they met whilst busking on the Southbank.

The Compositions and music are also written by Sebastian Diez and Heidi Joubert.

The London-based band has a reputation for being one of the few bands that are already rather renowned and favoured by many people across the globe and especially the UK and Europe, regardless of being an absolutely independent band.

Due to their very loyal and ever increasing fanbase, they excell at promoting themselves and hosting their own concerts on highly prestigious stages and venues such as the Junction (J1) without any external management or promotion, which is something one very rarely gets to see so don’t miss them if you can catch them live in action onstage!

Busking has also played a major role in the development of the Fernando’s Kitchen and the music, as well as the fame and fan base.

“We love to specialise in cultural diversity, being a band that is made up of different musicians from different backgrounds, fusing our different sounds and styles to create something very unique… a unity in diversity!”

Fernando’s Kitchen creates a music that is brand new, exciting and easily enjoyed and understood by any audience, irrespective of their age group or ethnicity.

“Our aim is to inspire people with our music, to be bold, and go for what they dream to do… To carry out their very purpose of existance, irrespective of what their own background and cultural traditions has to say!”
